Though not strictly a male enhancement product according to some, Urinozinc is actually a formula developed to relieve the symptoms of an enlarged prostate or benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Its ingredients aim to strengthen urination streams, stop dribbling, prevent waking up to pee, and stop painful ejaculations.

Most men at some point in their life end up dealing with an enlarged prostate so we thought we’d look at Urinozinc since it was developed to tackle such a widespread problem. Let’s see if it has the right formula to really deliver the benefits it promised.

How Does Urinozinc Work?

This product in mainly two ways. First, it serves to relieve urinary symptoms of BPH. Secondly, it aims to stop the process of BPH to stop prostate swelling and even decrease some of its size. For urinary treatment, Urinozinc uses a blend of mainly Pumpkin Seed and Pygeum Africanum. Though it is unclear how they work, studies have shown that both these extracts are effective at relieving bladder pressure helping men urinate more easily and less frequently, especially at night.

To affect BPH directly, Urinozinc uses Saw Palmetto and Zinc. Zinc no more abundant in any organ than it is within the prostate. Some clinical tests have shown that consuming supplementary amounts of Zinc can help stop further prostate enlargement and in some cases decrease the glands swelling. Saw Palmetto on the other hand, is commonly used for its ability to stop the enzymatic conversion of testosterone into DHT. DHT is a main contributing factor to BPH in that it causes the hyperplasia that makes the prostrate grow.

Aside from these main approaches, Urinozinc also contains vitamins and a compound called Lycopene to support prostate health in general and prevent possible cancer. They do not however, relieve urinary problems or combat BPH itself.

Overall, Urinozinc should be a fairly solid supplement. We won’t say that its formula blows us out of the water but it should be enough to provide benefits. We have no qualms with people trying out this formula.
